Im going to make one of these this week at work. It’s based off the discontinued ENO Roadie. It removes all the weight from your vehicles suspension. Otherwise this is how I do it with my little Camry. IMG_2694.jpgIMG_2693.jpgIMG_2696.jpg

Fellow Tensa Solo owner here. Using a Promaster City, I have hung off the upper corner part of the frame with one back door open. No worries at all. If there was no chance of rain/wind/dust/fire smoke getting in the van, I would do it again. Also have hung off a upper seat belt anchor, it's just not as high as I'd like.

I've never tried the following, but it should work:

Use a tire on the far side of the vehicle (attaching a loop of webbing around the tire where it contacts the ground), and drape the strap over the top of the vehicle. I would use 2" wide webbing and think the pressure would be spread out over a large enough surface area to prevent denting (corners of a vehicle are the strongest anyway).

Our old departed fiend Loki God bless his soul used to hang a hammock in his minivan. He used large pvc pipe fittings one outside on a strap closed in the front door and one at the rear hatch. Worked for him for years.
